Caishiji is located in 5 kilometers in southwest of Maanshan, with the elevation of about 50 meters. Due to its perfect combination of "grand, odd, alarming and beautiful", it ranks the first among the three in the Yangtze River. The ancient architectural structure, Taibai Tower, together with Yueyang Tower in Hunan, Huanghe Tower in Hubei and Tengwang Pavilion in Jiangxi, are called "Three Towers and One Pavilion of the Yangtze River". Around Caishiji, there are also such sight spots as Santai Tower, Sanyuan Cave and Lin Sanzhi Art Gallery, etc.

It is located in Qingshan, 20 kilometers away from the downtown, where the poetic God, Li Bai, eternally sleeps.1500 years ago, Xie Tioa, a poet in Southern Qi, thought this place as "place of landscape" in the poem called "A Travel to Qingshan".
